A file's checksum never lies, which is why it's a good method of making sure that it hasn't been altered in any way. Regardless of your reasons, if you want to the checksums of your own files, then you will want to use File Info. This simple and lightweight application will show you the MD5, CRC 32 and all SHA checksums for each individual file. It can process a huge amount of files at once without any problems, and it lets you save and export the information if you want to use it later.

The application only needs to be extracted from a ZIP archive, after which you can launch it right away, without going through an installation process. The software displays names, sizes and versions of your files, besides checksums, and you can choose which of these details should show up on its interface. You may also copy the information. For this, the application provides you with options for copying highlighted text or everything at once. Alternatively, you can just export everything in a plain text file, which is much faster.
